Houseguest

I was out doing the rounds this morning, when I got a call from the parents to see if I could look after the “inheritance” for the night. The “inheritance” before you get excited is their dog, Matilda and the nickname is the family name for her. She’s behaving well considering they let her get away with a lot. Currently she’s sittting near the cat food and not eating it, a minor miracle as she’s a glutton.

Maybe she’s just fooling you, waiting until you get nice and relaxed. If she is staying overnight, I would expect bedlam at about three in the morning.

Drej, the cat is ex Unca Stan (ie left with a bag food of food for three weeks) he can take care of himself.

Moko, do that to the inheritance? She’s no trouble just needs retraining (currently in progress)

DD, she’s old now but the personality is the same eat, sleep and crap. She’s a King Charles Spaniel (strangely a spaniel I like). For years I was told “leave her alone, she’s deaf” answered with the retort “she can’t be deaf with ears like that”, well now she is so I’m grateful that I always used hand commands along with the verbal so she still understands (and understands that I have different rules).
