Wire Jerking

Well work wise it was a quiet day not that I was loafing around. I’ve been doing a long term project for a friends father (OK it’s turned out long term due to lack of time to finish it),  so that job is almost done. My cousin (who did the conveyencing) needed some outlets done so that was done as well. Crawling under floors without enough room to turn over,  spider webs, mud, dust, Havoc make sure you learn enough to do domestic but don’t make it your bread and butter.

Yes, well, doing any work in an existing structure can be a giant pain. A lot of houses here still have knob-and-tube wiring, fuseboxes, wire that was old when WWII was news…the fun never ends.

YDog and over there you have houses that predate electricity, we have them here but nowhere to the same degree. On old houses doing one little job can turn into a complete rewire as everything that gets touched needs to be replaced.

Ah Padawan you have learned well 😉 Mate the rules and regs change that much it’s a joke (admittedly I only check them every few years) conduit depths 300 or 600, no everything 500 God knows what it is now (I stopped caring when I stopped having to dig).
