This to That

I got delivered an almost niece’s laptop for repair after running/downloading/trying everything the conclusion is reload Vista. Slight problem I run XP, there are family running Vista but there are no Vista installation disks. So call E he doesn’t have one either. But he ends up calling over and we get to catch up, the odd thing is though he has fifteen to twenty on me but our interests in music, reading material and philosophies are very close. Also picked up an interesting fact his grandfather was sent to the Boxer Rebellion and had one of five hundred odd medals that resulted. The medal cremated with him, another piece of history gone.

PS left as Victorian soldier and returned as an Australian soldier.

Maybe upgrade to Windows 7? This operating system will work fine the first time, won’t it? Sure it will!

The Boxer Rebellion is an interesting conflict. All of the major powers worked together for possibly the only time in history. British and Imperial regiments alongside US Marines beside Germans, Russians, Austrians, Italians, French, and Japanese. Quite a coalition for the early 1900s.

YDog, probably the last time everyone’s interest’s were aligned.

Moko, normally yes but the system locks up after booting. I’m still going to have a play in safe mode.
