Another knife

Saw another one I had to have.

Still not convinced about the sub hilt,  it’s at the two finger mark. But look at that blade! I really like Damascus blades they are very attractive. The finish is good and though it’s not visible the spine is actually concave to bring out the pattern. This one is going straight to the pool room.

Thanks Mayhem. I like Damascus, the different steels make for pretty blade. I still haven’t found out if the harder and softer steels transfer enough carbon to “even out” the hardness or if that migration doesn’t occur and the blade benefits from having harder and softer steels (as opposed to differentially hardened blades where the heat treatment of edge and spine are different eg katanas). Regardless they make a great looking knife.

I want to use the word ‘sexy’ is that the right word to use to descrube that patterning on the blade?

Nice looking blade. One question, why a sub hilt?

A knife style I like, the argument for better grip, against a twist disarm will hurt.
